Asterism Gems Australia is a small mining company whose directors are committed to keeping our natural surroundings beautiful, and who work with minimal environmental impact on flora and fauna.

THE far north landscape in bloom

Asterism is actively engaged with the Department of Mines in leaving the areas we work in in better condition than when we began, even repairing damage done by previous pirate mining and heavy grazing.

Local dingo

We all inhabit the planet and all suffer from its destruction. The extraction of our gems is undertaken in small areas and the material taken out from mining is filled back in and covered over so that no visible or ecologically significant trace of it can be found.

We wish that others wanting to benefit from the Earth's abundance would pay a little back and take a moment to leave things how they found them for the local wildlife and future generations.
