Lunalite

The light of the moon

Right next to the Rainbow Lattice occurrence in the Harts Ranges there occurs another unique gemstone - Lunalite.

Lunalite is a massive variety of silver sheen Moonstone. Fawn marbled inter-growth of orange Orthoclase Feldspar, giving a scenic cloudy moonscape.

Lunalite’s orange tendrils threaded through the milky-white sheen of Moonstone makes for a unique and delightfully bright and responsive gemstone.

Sometimes a tiny amount of magnetite lattice is locked inside, testament to the relationship and close proximity to Rainbow Lattice.
