What is Eclipsite(tm)

Eclipsite^tm is an exquisite new gemstone, a natural combination of Moonstone and Sunstone that have blended to make one gem, found in only one tiny spot in the world. This is the third unique gemstone found at the Utnerrengatye (Rainbow Caterpillar) mine and is a close cousin to Rainbow Lattice Sunstone.

While Rainbow Lattice is dominated by steely grey to iridescent Magnetite laths and triangles, Eclipsite^tm is dominated by golden or iridescent Haematite hexagonal plates.

Eclipsite^tm is different to Sunstone in that, like some rainbow lattice, it shows strong Adularescence (Moonstone).

The combination of moonstone Adularescence and Aventurescence is what makes Eclipsite^tm unique.
